Alice grew up in Bury St Edmunds where she trained in ballet, tap and modern at Hazelwood Dance Studios. She also regularly danced with the National Youth Ballet of Great Britain where, among other roles, was lucky enough to perform the principle character of ‘Alice’ in Wayne Sleep’s Scenes from Wonderland.
Alice trained professionally at Central School of Ballet where she toured with Ballet Central. During this time, she performed works by Christopher Gable, Darshan Singh Bhuller, Sara Matthews and commercial-jazz choreographer, Stacey Haynes.
After graduating with a First Class BA(Hons) Degree in Professional Dance and Perfomance, Alice joined Phoenix Dance Theatre, Leeds, as their apprentice dancer. Performing with the company, Alice had the opportunity to work with leading choreographers such as: Richard Alston, Didy Veldman, Uri Ivgi and Johan Greben. Also, whilst in Leeds, Alice received her Postgraduate Diploma in Contemporary Dance.
Since returning to London, Alice works as a freelance dancer and to performed with C-12 Dance Theatre.
Alongside performing, Alice has experience of teaching all ages. She choreographs and leads workshops for Hazelwood Dance Studios, Bury St Edmunds and, until recently, taught regularly for the Israeli Dance Institute.
