Amy professionally trained for three years at SLP College in Leeds, gaining distinction in her National Diploma. She has since, furthered her study at Guildford School of Acting graduating with a BA (HONS) in Theatre. Most recently Amy has studied at the Royal Academy of Dance for a Professional Dancers' Teaching Diploma, in which she was awarded distinction.
During professional training, Amy performed in The Good Old Days at the Leeds City Varieties, and played the part of Peppermint Patty in Snoopy the Musical, as well as featuring in productions at the Bradford Alhambra ( That's Entertainment), and The Grand Opera House, York (A Night at the Oscars).
Amy has performed onboard internationally renowned cruise ships, including the Costa Allegra, the Celebrity Summit and Cunard's Queen Victoria. She was also a member of the Potters Theatre Company in Norfolk, performing in shows including, Rule Britannia, The Great American Songbook, and Il Divo, Il Diva.
Amy was honoured to perform in the London 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony, alongside and in front of her majesty the Queen, a certain highlight in Amy's career so far.
