Emma was trained as a teacher by the highly regarded Ms Yvonne Goût, past IDTA director, president and chair of the classical ballet faculty. Emma received Distinctions in all her teaching exams through the IDTA, before gaining full affiliate teacher status of The Royal Ballet School. Since her affiliation, Emma has been selected to continue her dance teaching studies with the Royal Ballet School in their "Diploma of Dance Teaching for Professional Dance Teachers". Under the direction of Sarah Daultry and the RBS team of specialists, Emma is studying pre-vocational and vocational teaching of classical ballet technique, working from White Lodge and The Upper SChool.

Prior to becoming a teacher of dance, Emma started dance classes at the age of three at The Lisa Gail Theatre School in Nottinghamshire. During this time, she was inspired to transform from a shy little girl into a confident chatter box with a passion for dance.

Emma went on to train as a professional dancer at The London Studio Centre gaining a BA (hons) in Theatre Dance, and went on to work as a professional dancer and showgirl in Musical Theatre and in film and television for several years before getting married to her husband Marcelo. Together they have three children, Ava, Penelope and Matteo.

Creating and inspiring the young dancers of today is Emma's life. Through providing the highest quality of dance classes, Emma aims for her and her team to instil values of discipline, trust, loyalty, hard work and friendship into her students.
